With a background in experiential education and leadership development, he has worked with dozens of top-tier international schools across Southeast Asia to design and deliver meaningful, high-impact programs.
Known for his vision and deep understanding of school needs, Michael leads the company’s strategy, school partnerships, and program innovation. His passion lies in helping students build confidence, character, and a sense of global responsibility—one adventure at a time.
Tim is the logistical mastermind behind Big Ocean Dive’s seamless trips. With more than a decade of experience in program management and outdoor expedition design, he ensures every detail—from safety protocols to site coordination—is executed with precision and care.
Tim has led countless student groups through jungles, islands, and coral reefs across Southeast Asia. His calm leadership and commitment to safety make him a trusted figure among schools, teachers, and students alike.

In addition to school programs, Big Ocean Dive is also a certified 5-Star PADI Dive Center. We provide recreational diving, PADI certification courses, and family dive trips through our home base in Kuala Lumpur.

We are Big Ocean Dive – a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Kuala Lumpur. Our centre was founded in 2015 by Malaysian-born American Michael Grossman, who started diving at the age of 15. He began his career as a commercial diver working in the United States, eventually finding his calling as a dive instructor.
